Matito

Matito and the huge Ferris Wheel.

From 11 to 13 May

Matito is happy lying under an olive tree. He feels happy, for two reasons: because he can just laze around and because today he will declare his love to the girl he loves. However, happiness is not eternal, Mr. Bill arrives and orders him to go somewhere else: they 're going to a huge Ferris Wheel just on the spot Matito has the olive tree. Matito's origins are Mediterranean, geographically located in the Camp de Tarragona and the Ebro Lands, where the local landscape, specially the olive groves, are being increasingly threatened. The production shows the linguistic richness, local humour and the varied traditional music of the area.
